    The Role at a glance:

    Elior is looking for a Work Comp Program Manager to join our Risk Management team. In this role, you will develop strategies and action plans to effectively manage, investigate, and resolve workers’ compensation claims. You will support the administration of the program by identifying risks, quantifying potential impacts, and developing policies and procedures that provide cost reduction and process improvement.

     

    You will report to the Risk Manager. You will partner with Safety, Legal, Segment teams, Human Resource partners, insurance brokers, and Third Party Administrators (TPAs) in a collaborative environment.

    What you'll be doing:

    + Ensure timely handling of claims by TPA, including support with claim reporting, information gathering from Segment and Unit teams, and incident investigation.

    + Maintain ongoing and direct communication with Unit Management, Segment Leadership, and HR regarding claims management and policy or procedure reinforcement.

    + Maintain Lost Time claims data.

    + Support Return to Work program and internal reporting requirements.

    + Ensure adequacy of reserves and approve settlement to bring claims to resolution in a cost-effective manner.

    + Oversee litigation to both support TPA and attorneys, and ensure they are meeting ENA’s expectations.

    + Analyze data and partner with Risk Manager, Safety, Legal and Corporate Support teams to provide recommendations for risk mitigation and cost reduction strategies.

    + Administer monopolistic state workers’ compensation programs.

    + Produce internal reports in PowerPoint or Excel format using claims data from TPA database or RMIS system.

    + Host internal calls with Leadership and HR to discuss open work comp claims.

    + Coordinate risk and claims management training sessions, as needed

    What we're looking for:

    + 5 years of Work Comp claims handling experience in a Carrier, TPA or Risk Management environment.

    + Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Finance, Economics, HR, Business Administration or a related field or equivalent combination of background, skills, and experience.

    + Knowledge of the application of insurance coverage and claims handling procedures.

    + Strong written and oral communication, as well as strong interpersonal and investigative skills.

    + Strong attention to detail with proficiency in ensuring information / data accuracy.

    + Proficient in Microsoft Office technology, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and RMIS systems.

    + Excellent time management skills with ability to manage and prioritize multiple assignments simultaneously.

    Compensation:

    $100k/yr.
