The Field Service Engineer II reports to Field Service Sr. Supervisor and functions as site’s point of contact (Site Lead) for the IGS project team and customer. The Site Lead is ultimately responsible for successful execution of the installation and pre-commissioning (run in) of IGS conveyor systems.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Travel extensively throughout United States to perform conveyor installations and oversee the work of other installation members on site with an eye for quality of work.
+ Act as technical interface to mechanical and electrical installers and responsible that the system is installed properly to meet engineering’s stated requirements for functionality, standards, and quality as described in the supporting documentation and drawings.
+ Coordinates with Field Service Sr. Supervisor to ensure required prerequisites (e.g., design inputs, tools, documentation, deliverables, schedule, budget, low-cost engineering content) are in place prior to commencing the work, including the short-schedule tie-in processes.
+ Onsite POC for day-to-day questions or issues from customer and subcontracted services, if applicable. Decisions on larger issues to be communicated by Site Lead to Field Service Sr. Supervisor.
+ Actively participate in project requirement analysis, implementation status, and system testing.
+ Awareness of deliverables to comply with Phase Gate Reviews for customer acceptance and ensuring all requirements are completed within the agreed schedule and budget.
YOU MUST HAVE
+ Must be able to travel throughout the United States and spend project duration at site, which typically is 4 – 16 weeks.
+ Possess 4 years of conveyor installation experience and demonstrate technical expertise regarding conveyor installations.
+ Strong background in electrical supervisor over industrial conveyor installations. Knowledge of NEC codes.

+ Experience conducting training sessions for field service technicians and customers
+ Journeyman or Master Electricians Certifications
