    Compensation: $25 - $30 hourly

     

    Contractor Work Model: Onsite

     

    Hours: Monday through Friday (7am-3:30pm), most Saturdays (7am-12p)

    PRECISION GRINDER/MACHINIST

    Position Overview

    We are seeking a Precision Grinder/Machinist to join our manufacturing team. This hands-on role is ideal for someone with experience in machining and grinding who thrives in a production environment and values precision, quality, and hard work.

    Responsibilities

    + Setup and operation of machining lathes

    + Operation of cylindrical and surface grinders

    + Operation of polishing and honing machines

    + Performing basic setups including cutting tools and grinding wheels

    + Use of overhead hoists for material handling

    + Reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings

    + Maintaining high standards of precision and safety throughout all operations

    Qualifications

    + Experience in a manufacturing or machine shop environment

    + Hands-on experience with lathes and grinders

    + Familiarity with machining setups

    + Proficiency with inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators

    + Strong mechanical and technical aptitude

    + Solid mathematical skills and high attention to detail

    + Ability to read and speak English

    + Must be a U.S. Citizen
