Job Title: Structural Designer

Compensation: Level 1-$30.00/hr, Level 2- $32/hr, Level 3- $36.00/hr

System One is currently seeking a Structural Designer on a 3 year contract position located in Birmingham, AL.

Structural Designer Responsibilities:

+ Produce design drawings for structural steel and reinforced concrete

+ Prepare layouts and conceptual designs

+ Prepare fabrication drawings

Structural Designer Requirements:

+ Level 1- 0-5 years experience, Level 2- 5-7 years, Level 3- 7-10 years

+ Proficient using AutoCAD

+ Extensive 3D modeling experience is a plus

+ Steel/concrete detailing

+ Ability to build effective relationship with design engineering staff and/or vendors. Individual must live within 1 hour of The Energy Center.
