Description
ENTRUST Solutions Group is looking for a Survey Technician to join our team. If you're detail-oriented, CAD-savvy, and ready to play a key role in a variety of infrastructure and land development projects, this could be the perfect fit. You'll spend the day transforming field data into polished survey deliverables using tools like AutoCAD, Carlson and/or MicroStation along with InRoads. From topographic maps and ALTA/NSPS surveys to construction stakeout plans, you'll handle a variety of projects - often tied to utilities, transportation, and land development work. You'll collaborate with field crews, interpret plans and plats, perform survey computations and help troubleshoot any data issues that arise.
Project travel is required but is not expected to exceed 20%. We are looking for candidates local to the Baltimore, MD area or the Richmond/Fredericksburg, VA regions.
Required Qualifications:
+ Minimum of 5 years of experience in land surveying.
+ Strong CAD skills (AutoCAD, Carlson, MicroStation, InRoads)
+ Ability to interpret deeds, plats, and technical drawings.
+ A valid driver's license for occasional project travel.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Certified Survey Technician (CST).
+ Familiarity with GPS, GIS, LiDAR, UAS and other modern survey technologies.
+ Experience with ALTA/NSPS standards and FEMA Elevation Certifications.

+ Benefits & Salary: This position pays between $50,000 and $80,000 annually and is an exempt position.
+ Benefits offered include company sponsored medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) plan with company match. Also offered are tuition reimbursement, voluntary life, disability, critical illness, accident and hospitalization plans. HSA or FSA medical accounts and FSA dependent care and transportation/parking accounts are also available. These benefits are subject to employee contribution amounts generally set annually.
+ Full time employees are eligible to earn PTO hours.
+ May be eligible for discretionary bonus as determined by the company.
