In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering essential care to patients, ensuring they receive the attention and support necessary to manage their daily activities. Responsibilities
+ Provide personal care services to clients, including assistance with bathing, grooming, and dressing.
+ Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients for side effects or changes in condition.
+ Assist clients with mobility and physical therapy exercises as directed by healthcare professionals.
+ Prepare meals and assist with feeding when necessary, ensuring dietary needs are met.
+ Maintain a clean and safe environment in the client's home, including light housekeeping duties.
+ Document and report changes in the client's condition to supervisors and family members.
+ Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging in meaningful conversation and activities.
+ High school diploma or equivalent; certified home health aide training preferred.
+ Previous experience in home health care or a related field is advantageous.
+ Current CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
+ Ability to follow care plans and provide support to diverse populations.
+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and their families.
+ Compassionate, patient, and understanding nature all times when dealing with clients.
+ Reliable transportation to travel between client locations as necessary.
