    *Position Overview*

    Are you enthusiastic about CNC machining and precision manufacturing? We’re looking for a skilled and motivated individual to join our Metal Cutting & Turning Operations team as a Machinist. In this role, you’ll play a key part in maintaining efficient production by setting up and operating a range of CNC equipment, including turning machines and both vertical and horizontal machining centers.

     

    Set-up durations and run times vary depending on the job, and you’ll be working in a fast-paced production environment where meeting standard output rates and maintaining high-quality work are essential. This position requires strong hand-eye coordination and frequent use of both hands and arms for repetitive tasks. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will directly contribute to the success of the team.

     

    Intermediate CNC Machinist Roles

     

    - 2 Openings - *Expert Level Openings*

    ---------------------------------------------------

     

    2nd Shift: 4:30pm - 1am || 1 Opening

    Overtime: 5 - 10 hours on average

    *There will be some Saturdays worked, but employees will be told ahead of time, and it will not be mandatory*

     

    Pay Scale: $35/hr. - $39/hr. (Dependent on CNC experience)

    *Key Responsibilities*

    - Demonstrated ability to read blueprints and follow specific instructions and procedures.

    - Ability to organize, prioritize and plan daily work assignments in a self-directed changing environment.

    - Knowledge of shop math.

    - Proficient use of measuring equipment such as height gauges, micrometers and calipers.

    - Understanding of metal-cutting applications and machine practices.

    - Handling of piece parts ranging in weight from 1lb. to 25 lbs.

    - Deburring and cleaning of parts using various hand and power tools such as a belt sander or drill press.

    - Inspection of parts visually and using various measurement tools such as height gauges, micrometers and calipers.

    Must Haves:

    - 6 - 10 years of CNC machining experience

    - 2 - 3+ years of CNC set up experience using fanuc controls

    - One of these machines: Mazak, Okuma, Haas

    - Mill and/or Lathe experience

    - Blueprints experience

    - Precision measuring tools: micrometers and calipers

    - HSD or GED

    Nice to Haves:

    - CNC vocational Schooling

    - GD&T experience

    - Experience with both Lathe and Mill CNC Machines

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $39.00/hr.
