Job Description

We are seeking dedicated individuals to work as packers at the end of our production line. Packers are responsible for removing products, counting them according to the order sheet, and packing them into boxes for shipment to customers. Each shift begins with reporting to the supervisor, where you will be assigned to a production line for the day. During the first few days, you will receive cross-training on different lines, which may include applying labels, stacking and packing boxes, and managing scrap parts. You will also be required to fill out work orders based on the day's production run.

Responsibilities

+ Remove products from the production line and count them according to order sheets.

+ Pack counted products into boxes for shipment.

+ Report to the supervisor at the start of each shift.

+ Be assigned to a specific production line each day.

+ Receive cross-training between different production lines.

+ Apply labels, stack, and pack boxes, and manage scrap parts.

+ Fill out work orders based on daily production runs.

Essential Skills

+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, though most products are very light, usually up to 20 lbs.

+ Adequate English proficiency to read and follow instructions.

+ Ability to count effectively.

+ Knowledge of injection moulding and operation of injection molding machines.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in an industrial environment is beneficial.

+ Experience with extrusion or injection molding is advantageous.

Work Environment

Work in a cleanroom environment where safety glasses are provided and must be worn at all times. The temperature is controlled for comfort. All breaks are paid, including one 15-minute and one 30-minute break per shift. Choose from three shifts: 1st shift from 7am-3pm, 2nd shift from 3pm-11pm, or 3rd shift from 11pm-7am.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Leominster, Massachusetts.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
