    Job Title: Shift Forklift Operator

    Job Description

    Join our team as a Shift Forklift Operator in a dynamic food production environment. This role involves driving a forklift and using a pallet jack to efficiently move products from loading and unloading docks throughout the factory. You will also utilize an RF Scanner to accurately scan products.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate a forklift and pallet jack to move products within the factory.

    + Use an RF Scanner to scan and track products.

    + Load and unload products efficiently.

    + Maintain a clean and organized work area.

    + Adhere to safety protocols and procedures.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum 6 months of experience driving a forklift, preferably in a production environment.

    + Familiarity with shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations.

    + Willingness to learn how to use an RF Scanner if not already experienced.

    + Ability to work overtime as needed.

    + Comfortable working in sub-zero temperatures.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in a food production environment is a plus.

    Work Environment

     

    The work environment is a food production setting, specifically within a Freezer Warehouse. Temperatures are sub-zero, and the Weigh Pack/Cold Room is maintained at 34 degrees. You will need to wear appropriate attire including a hair net and smock or lab coat. If you have a beard, a beard cover is required. Jewelry, including wedding rings, is not permitted on the production floor. Expect to be standing for the duration of your shift.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $32552.00 - $32552.00/yr.

     

    full benefits, blue cross blue shield. Eligibile right away.
