Job Title: Clean Room Sort & Tally (2nd Shift)
Job Description
Join our team as a Clean Room Sort & Tally Technician on the 2nd shift, where you will play a vital role in the refurbishment of surgical instruments through a detailed cleaning and sorting process.
Responsibilities
+ Refurbish surgical instruments, ranging from 10" to 30" in length, by cleaning, sorting, and power washing.
+ Operate a metal detector prior to the cleaning process.
+ Gown up in clean room gear and handle bins, occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs.
+ Perform manual and chemical cleaning of surgical instruments that may contain biological residues.
+ Post-clean, label and sort instruments into appropriate bins.
+ Contribute to daily sweeping and mopping duties.
Essential Skills
+ Ability to stand for the entire shift.
+ Willingness and capability to wear clean room gear.
+ Strong quality mindset.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Entry-level candidates are welcome; no specific experience required.
+ High School Diploma (HSD) or GED is not mandatory but required for supervisory roles.
+ Willingness to learn other core competencies for cross-training.
+ Ability to work without taking any days off in the first 30 days, including Saturdays if scheduled for overtime.

Work Environment
Work in a clean, air-conditioned facility with a slight sterile smell. The role requires wearing full clean room gear, including a smock, booties, gloves, beard net, hair net, plastic visor, and safety glasses. Dress code includes closed-toed tennis shoes, work pants or jeans, and a plain shirt. The 2nd shift hours are 1:30 PM to 10 PM, Monday to Friday, with the possibility of working one Saturday a month for overtime.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chandler, Arizona.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.20 - $19.20/hr.
