    Job Title: MEP Superintendent - Data Center

    Job Description

    The MEP Superintendent role is focused on providing technical leadership and management for the delivery and implementation of facility management processes on mission-critical projects such as data centers or hospitals. This individual will collaborate with technical and management experts to prepare technical solutions and documentation in line with company guidelines and philosophies.

    Responsibilities

    + Develop technical solutions related to facility management and support the documentation of systems and solutions.

    + Act as a team leader, coordinating, directing, and developing other members of the process staff.

    + Determine processes based on knowledge, experience, and correspondence with design/engineering firms.

    + Read and understand plans and specifications for major/complex projects.

    + Research and collect input from multiple internal and external resources.

    + Analyze multiple project types and past and future program performance, understanding assumptions, risks, and opportunities.

    + Utilize software packages to improve production, quality, accuracy, and deliverables.

    + Prioritize building relationships with clients and subcontractors.

    + Direct the workload of Solutions Associates.

    Essential Skills

    + 10+ years of experience as a superintendent with a general contractor on large-scale projects.

    + 3-5 years of experience in a critical facility environment, including hospitals, airports, and data centers.

    + Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in Facilities Management, Mechanical, Electrical, or MEP Construction Management.

    + Strong working knowledge of facilities operations and building systems.

    + Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Project, Word, SharePoint).

    + Strong project management skills.

    + Effective written and verbal communication skills.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Master’s degree in a technical or facility management-related field preferred.

    + Ability to communicate complex issues effectively in written format and oral presentation to clients.

    + Experience in creating a Master Equipment List (MEL) and a Commissioning (Cx) Schedule.

    + Ability to recognize, troubleshoot, document, and optimize facilities processes.

    + Ability to work collaboratively in a mobile work environment.

    + Ability to read and interpret financial data relating to facilities.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Montgomery, Alabama.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $105000.00 - $170000.00/yr.

     

    Medical, Vision, Dental - This project will run for 3-5 years and the ability to move with them to the next spot under thier service umbrella

     

    Workplace Type

     

    This is a fully onsite position in Montgomery,AL.
