Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician
Job Description
Join our team as an Industrial Maintenance Technician, where you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing production machinery and equipment. Your expertise will ensure that our operations run smoothly and comply with safety standards and regulations.
Responsibilities
+ Perform repairs, preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery, plant blow mold equipment, and facility.
+ Ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards and applicable laws and regulations.
+ Install, adjust, and repair blow molds, trimmers, palletizers, and other related equipment.
+ Perform mold, neck tooling changes, pin, and other equipment changes.
+ Inspect and replace pneumatic and hydraulic hoses.
+ Inspect, rebuild, and replace valves and pumps.
+ Perform preventive maintenance on all related equipment.
+ Maintain machines in optimal processing condition.
+ Weld, fabricate, and repair various machines.
+ Troubleshoot, locate root problems, and repair blow mold, baggers, and support equipment.
+ May operate blow mold or injection machines.
+ Communicate with other departments frequently.
+ Receive instructions on specific job tasks from Lead Industrial Maintenance Technician or Supervisor.
+ Other duties as assigned by management.
Essential Skills
+ Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical issues.
+ Experience with pneumatics and hydraulics.
+ Skilled in preventive maintenance and repair work.
+ Knowledge of electrical troubleshooting and 3-phase systems.
+ Familiarity with industrial PLC troubleshooting.
+ Ability to read blueprints.
+ Experience with motors and conveyor systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience operating blow mold or injection machines.
+ Effective communication skills with other departments.
+ Ability to follow instructions and adapt to plant-specific equipment and design.

Work Environment
This position requires regular physical activity, including standing, walking, and manual handling. You will work in a production environment with exposure to moving mechanical parts. Temperature conditions may vary with seasonal changes. The role demands a commitment to safety and precision in a collaborative setting.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Atlanta, Georgia.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $35.00/hr.
