    Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician

    Job Description

    Perform minor and major repairs of all material handling equipment, including AutoStore systems. Conduct preventative maintenance and troubleshooting procedures on conveyor systems and other mechanical equipment on a scheduled basis. Coordinate with external contractors/vendors for the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of building systems. Complete daily, weekly, and monthly checklists on building equipment maintenance procedures and maintain records. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulatory requirements, including HAZMAT records maintenance. Respond professionally and timely to management and internal customer inquiries, resolving operational issues. Operate computer systems that control and monitor mechanical equipment and utility systems. Respond to emergency maintenance requests and obtain estimates for supplies and repair parts as needed. Make recommendations for improving maintenance programs. Operate powered lift equipment and support equipment lockout/tagout. Perform other duties as assigned, such as outside custodial duties like snow removal.

    + Willingness to work overtime, including weekends

    Work Environment

     

    The work environment is a distribution center/warehouse where you will be constantly required to stand and remain alert. Regularly lift or move up to 60 lbs, and perform bending, twisting, and pulling actions. Operate powered equipment and may be required to wear a headset and PPE, such as a protective harness. The environment is moderately noisy and involves working near conveyor systems and moving parts. It is a hectic and fast-paced setting.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Permanent position based out of Ashland, Virginia.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $54080.00 - $68640.00/yr.
