    Description

    The following requirements and duties are considered essential to the machine operation position. Other responsibilities may be assigned from time-to-time at the discretion of the Management.

     

    • Work in a warm environment and follow direction from supervisors

    • Work on machines to complete tasks

    • Work quickly and efficiently

    • Perform the Wiping operations as trained.

    • Ability to remove paint and repaint turnbacks/rejects if needed.

    • Process all required paperwork.

    • Check the quality of all parts and maintain quality standards. Remove any damaged parts from the line.

    • Initiate/respond to the AMT’s as required for turnbacks/reworks to assure corrective action takes place as defects in product are discovered.

    • Compose viable corrective actions when given an AMT by a downstream department.

    • Upkeep (general cleaning & maintenance) and safe operation of wiping area.

    • Meet established labor standards (Maintain average weekly labor utilization > 90%).

    • Work according to a Department Schedule (perform the work sequentially per the department schedule and meet the production schedule on-time delivery rate at 92%).

    • Generate VEs that provide value to the department and the company.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
