Job Title: Product Engineer

Job Description

Actalent is seeking to hire a Product Engineer, who will be responsible for taking customer orders and designing pump products using SolidWorks and Creo. This role includes reviewing designs, troubleshooting, and providing factory and manufacturing support. The engineer will partner with assembly teams on designs and fabrication, create bill of materials and manufacturing drawings, and pass designs to the project engineering team for submittal creation.

Responsibilities

+ Take customer orders and design pump products using SolidWorks and Creo.

+ Review designs and troubleshoot issues.

+ Provide factory and manufacturing support.

+ Partner with assembly teams on designs and fabrication.

+ Create bill of materials and manufacturing drawings.

+ Pass designs to project engineering team for submittal creation.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in SolidWorks and Creo design.

+ Experience with product design and manufacturing processes.

+ Knowledge of GD&T and FEA analysis.

+ Background in mechanical engineering and mechanical design.

+ Ability to perform 3D modeling and concept design.

+ Understanding of hydraulic design and pump design.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

+ EIT certificate is desired; PE license is preferred.

+ 2-5 years of mechanical engineering and design experience.

+ Experience with manufacturing/fabrication processes.

+ Experience with pumps is a plus.

Work Environment

The work environment includes both an engineering office and a manufacturing floor, where engineers will operate in both areas. You will work closely with product engineering and project engineering teams. The company offers medical, dental, and vision benefits, a 401K plan, 2 weeks of PTO, and 10 paid holidays. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $115000.00/hr.
