Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

$32-$36/HR

Job Description

We are seeking a full-time Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. This position offers some flexibility with set hours and/or days of the week. The Maintenance Mechanic performs mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance on all pieces of industrial equipment to ensure a smooth workflow. Additionally, the role involves assisting with the installation of new equipment and building maintenance.

Responsibilities

+ Follow all work instructions and safety policies, including the use of all PPE and safety equipment.

+ Perform routine preventive maintenance checks on all production equipment and machinery.

+ Repair basic mechanical components and replace parts on machines such as bearings, filters, wiring, valves, gauges, and switches.

+ Observe and listen to mechanical devices in operation to locate causes of problems.

+ Dismantle devices to gain access to and remove defective parts.

+ Lubricate and clean machinery and support equipment to maintain housekeeping and preventive maintenance standards within the plant.

+ Accomplish all work orders to maintain safety, reduce downtime, decrease scrap, improve quality production, and enhance plant efficiency.

+ Follow all safety rules and procedures including the Lockout/Tagout program, housekeeping, and observe operations to ensure a safe work environment.

+ Perform other related duties as assigned.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $70000.00/yr.

401k match of 4%

11 paid holidays

2 weeks of PTO

This is a fully onsite position in Minneapolis,MN.
