We are seeking a Mechanical System Design Engineer to join our team and contribute to the design and development of industrial laundry equipment, with a focus on material handling systems. This role involves interpreting customer requirements and transforming them into detailed project and product specifications while collaborating with a cross-functional team of engineers.

Responsibilities

+ Design industrial laundry equipment with a focus on material handling systems.

+ Interpret customer requirements and translate them into project and product specifications.

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical, software, and controls engineers for a concurrent design approach.

+ Act as a liaison to Purchasing, Production, Sales, and Product Support departments by providing technical support.

+ Participate in lab testing and field trials.

+ Travel up to 5% of the time for site surveys.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in AutoCAD and CAD design.

+ Experience in designing rail, conveyor, and material handling systems.

+ Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.

+ Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in designing industrial equipment.

+ Experience with 3D modeling software such as Autodesk Inventor or SolidWorks.

+ Pneumatic and hydraulic system design experience.

+ Understanding of materials and manufacturing processes.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
