Job Title: Dietary Food Service Worker
Job Description
Join our team as a Dietary Food Service Worker where you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient operation of our kitchen within a hospital setting. You'll be part of a team focused on delivering exceptional food service while adhering to safety and hygiene standards.
Responsibilities
+ Prepare food items and assist in cooking.
+ Participate in tray line service ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
+ Maintain cleanliness by performing janitorial duties.
+ Operate dishwashing equipment effectively.
+ Ensure proper food safety practices are followed at all times.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in food preparation and kitchen work.
+ Knowledge of food safety standards.
+ Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience as a cook, cashier, or tray passer is beneficial.
+ Ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Work Environment
This role is based in a hospital setting where maintaining a clean and organized environment is crucial. Candidates must adhere to strict dress code policies including wearing a belt, hairnet, and avoiding nail polish, fake nails, airpods, headphones, cellphones, and chewing gum.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of St. Louis, Missouri.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
