Job Title: Refrigeration Technician
Job Description
As a Refrigeration Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and overhauling equipment such as condenser units, pumps, air handlers, heat exchangers, and other environmental control devices. You will install and maintain temperature control systems, electric valves, heat transfer equipment, ventilation, and air distribution equipment. Additionally, you will read gauges and instruments to adjust mechanisms like valves, controls, and pumps to regulate fluid pressure and distribution in systems.
Responsibilities
+ Operate various refrigeration recovery equipment in compliance with EPA guidelines.
+ Perform soldering with sil-fos and silver solder, layout, and fit piping.
+ Test malfunctioning systems and components using electrical, mechanical, digital, and pneumatic controls.
+ Maintain air makeup systems, chillers, evaporators, and drain lines.
+ Order parts and materials for repairs and maintain refrigeration stock.
+ Perform planned maintenance, regular servicing, and repairs to refrigeration equipment of all types, sizes, and temperature ranges.
+ Initiate continuous improvement activities pertaining to facility power systems including refrigeration, steam, and water.
+ Assist in the maintenance, installation, operation, and repair of boiler and pressure systems and all related equipment.
+ Detect defects and assist in initiating repairs before major breakdowns occur.
+ Follow and enforce plant-wide and equipment safety rules and procedures.
+ Maintain records of repairs or equipment requiring future service.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $104000.00 - $145600.00/yr.
