    **3rd Shift:** Sun-Th 10p-6:20am

    **Pay Range:** $18.35-$19.35/hr

    Job Description

    As a Production Worker, you will use hand tools and a tape measure to assemble various components of flooring and drop ceiling products by following work instructions. Lifting will be a team effort, but you should be comfortable lifting up to 30-35 lbs independently a few times per shift. There is an opportunity to train on machinery once hired.

    Responsibilities

    + Learn and understand all equipment and machinery within the Understructure department.

    + Position parts and monitor operations on equipment to produce products at established production standards.

    + Perform minor setups, including changing plate sizes and setups for various sized tubes and studs.

    + Inspect panels or parts to ensure specifications meet quality standards while maintaining production standards, and report any issues.

    + Complete production reporting and quality paperwork accurately as required.

    + Use banding equipment and hand-jacks to ensure proper movement or storage of product or material.

    + Maintain good housekeeping and follow established safety procedures.

    + Adhere to all policies, procedures, and work instructions, including Employee Handbook, SOPs, MOPs, JSAs, and Safety Manual.

    + Maintain awareness of individual contribution to and impact on quality, safety, environmental, and product compliance policies and activities; report all quality issues, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions to the appropriate personnel.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.

    + Ability to use a tape measure accurately.

    + Experience with assembly and general labor.

    + Comfortable with heavy lifting.

    + Machine operation knowledge is a plus.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with micrometers and calipers is a plus.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $17.75 - $19.35/hr.
