Production Associate

2nd Shift | $19 | Montgomery, IL

Overview

As a Production Associate, you will play a key role in packaging, sanitation, and material handling operations. This is a hands-on position in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and team work are essential. The facility manufactures thermoplastics, custom compounds, plastic adhesives, and bioplastics, contributing to home consumer goods and automotive industries.

The typical schedule will be 2:00PM-10:30PM Monday - Friday.

Responsibilities

+ Perform packaging tasks including box assembly, labeling, and completing pack outs

+ Assist with railcar/container hook-ups and general material movement

+ Follow work orders for repacks and product handling

+ Maintain cleanliness of equipment, production areas, and warehouse

+ Inspect products for quality and remove contaminants

+ Support recycling efforts and participate in restacking and floor load projects

+ Lift up to 55 lbs and rotate through various production stations

Essential Skills

+ Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform repetitive physical tasks

+ Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

+ Experience in production, manufacturing, and warehouse

+ General labor and material handling capabilities.

+ Forklift experience is a plus

Work Environment

+ The work environment is large and team-oriented, typically involving 5-10 person teams.

+ It is fast-paced, loud, and can be dirty depending on the area of the facility.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
