    Job Title: Manufacturing Team Leader

    Job Description

    As a Manufacturing Team Leader (Rapid Responder), you will be responsible for swiftly addressing and resolving production issues such as equipment malfunctions, quality control problems, or safety concerns. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring minimal downtime and maintaining production efficiency.

    Responsibilities

    + Prioritize safety by driving safety initiatives.

    + Lead changeovers and set up equipment for different product sizes.

    + Troubleshoot, make adjustments, and perform minor repairs on mechanical equipment.

    + Collaborate with the QA team to ensure production meets quality assurance standards.

    + Train new operators on equipment operation and minor adjustments.

    + Operate equipment in the manufacturing of cardboard container boxes or a new product line (bags).

    Essential Skills

    + 1-2 years of experience in manufacturing.

    + 1-2 years of experience as a Team Lead.

    + 1-2 years of experience in machine operation and troubleshooting.

    + Proficiency in inspection, industrial operations, forklift operation, sheet metal work, blueprint reading, quality assurance, and fabrication.

    + Ability to use a tape measure, operate machines, work on production lines, and ensure quality control.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with leadership development and communication.

    + Understanding of machine safety and troubleshooting.

    + Experience with CNC equipment is beneficial.

    + Experience with manual equipment is preferred.

    Work Environment

     

    The work environment is heavier industrial and not climate controlled. The team manufactures rolls of paper and cardboard to create packaging and cartons. Equipment includes both traditional and state-of-the-art machinery, and candidates will need to operate both old and new equipment.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Richmond, Virginia.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $48297.00 - $48297.00/yr.
