Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking skilled Electrical Maintenance Technicians with a focus on robotic maintenance. Candidates must have a strong understanding of PLC systems, particularly Studio 5000 and Rockwell Automation. This role involves working with hydraulics, pneumatics, presses, and extrusions, as well as performing wiring for 110 - 480 V 3-phase motors and motor control drives. The ideal candidate will have the ability to troubleshoot existing control logic and operator interface programs, assist in the implementation of new control systems, and maintain accurate records of repairs and tests.

Responsibilities

+ Perform wiring for 110 - 480 V 3-phase motors, motor control drives, and PLC.

+ Understand and troubleshoot existing control logic and operator interface programs.

+ Assist Controls Engineers in the implementation of new control systems.

+ Install, test, and repair electrical controls components.

+ Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform preventive maintenance.

+ Maintain records of repairs, calibrations, and tests.

+ Read schematics and OEM specifications to program, configure, and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment.

+ Develop a thorough knowledge of Allen-Bradley and Rockwell Automation hardware and software.

+ Participate in root-cause analysis efforts as necessary.

+ Write reports and use Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, etc.) for documentation.

Essential Skills

+ Strong electrical troubleshooting and maintenance skills.

+ Experience with PLC maintenance and troubleshooting, specifically with Rockwell Automation.

+ Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics and specifications.

+ Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.

+ Experience with robotic programming and industrial maintenance.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in mechatronics is a plus.

+ Familiarity with ISO9001:2008 standards.

+ Candidates with vocational school experience or a minimum of 2 years hands-on experience are welcome.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $83200.00/yr.
