Description
This position is responsible for providing advanced administrative and clerical support to ensure the efficient and effective operation of Community Health Programs (CHP) within the public safety sector. The role requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional with strong organizational and communication skills who can manage complex administrative functions in a dynamic, high-stakes environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
+ Program Support: Manage program documentation, coordinate team scheduling and communications, and maintain confidential records.
+ Grants & Reporting: Support grant requirements and reporting processes.
+ Stakeholder Liaison: Serve as a liaison between internal staff, external partners, and community stakeholders to enhance service delivery and program outcomes.
+ Administrative Knowledge: Requires knowledge of office administration and public health program support.
+ Records Management: Includes handling of confidential or protected health information (PHI).
+ Scheduling: Skilled in scheduling, coordinating meetings, and managing calendars.
+ Communication: Demonstrate professional verbal and written communication skills.
+ Confidentiality: Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
+ Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
Education, Experience, Licensing
+ Education: High School graduation or GED
+ Experience: Two years of clerical, customer service, administrative, or closely related office support experience.
+ Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and data entry is required.
+ Driver's License: Possession of a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record is required.
Supplemental Information
+ Understanding of confidentiality and data privacy regulations when handling visitor information and communications.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
+ Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with visitors, staff, and management.
+ Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
+ Strong knowledge of office administration, recordkeeping, and public health program support.
+ Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to collaborate with colleagues and work as part of a team.
The workdays and hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Retirees of the Investment Plan are eligible for renewed membership in the Investment Plan only. FRS reemployment rules apply for both.
