    Description

    PCSI is looking for a Service Order Dispatcher at FT. SILL, OK. A Service Order Dispatcher receives, records, and distributes work orders to service crews upon customers’ requests for service on articles or utilities purchases from wholesale or retail establishments or utility company.

     

    This position will report to the Project Manager and is based at FT. Sill, OK. This position’s work hours will be 0730-1600 Monday through Friday and must be willing to work other shifts to support operational requirements.

    Benefits Include:

    + Base pay of $18.27/hr depending upon experience.

    + Medical, dental, vision, and other coverage: employer contribution offered to cover employee-only tier.

    + 11 paid holidays, 10 days’ vacation, 7 days sick leave.

    What You'll Do as Service Order Dispatcher:

    + Receives, records, and distributes work orders to service crews upon customers’ requests for service on articles or utilities purchases from wholesale or retail establishments or utility companies.

    + Records information, such as name, address, article to be repaired, or service to be rendered.

    + Prepares work order and distributes to service crew.

    + Schedules for the service call and dispatches service crew.

    + Calls or writes to customers to ensure satisfactory performance of service.

    + Keeps record of service calls and work orders.

    + May dispatch orders and relay messages and special instructions to mobile crews and other departments, using radio telephone equipment.

    + Greet visitors and take incoming phone calls, fax, and radio messages and promptly take care of requests or relay messages to the appropriate person.

    + Apply experience and judgment in selecting procedures to be followed and accurately interpret, select or code items to be entered from a variety of document sources.

    + May refer problems arising from erroneous items, codes or missing information to supervisor for clarification or resolution.

    What You'll Need:

    + High school diploma or GED.

    + Two (2) years related experience with the ability to perform the assigned duties.

    + Must be able to effectively read, write, and speak the English language.

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    + Must be able to operate a personal computer and must display skills in word processing, database and spreadsheets.

    + Able to monitor several audible communications devices, such as, telephone, fax and radio throughout the day while performing job tasks.

    + Ability to communicate effectively with diverse and sometimes irate individuals and to handle calmly, and efficiently situations ranging from routine to emergency.

    + Self-starter. able to work in a team environment with minimal direction and supervision.

    + Have the ability to deal with multiple responsibilities and to meet deadlines.

    + Must be able to perform basic accounting and mathematical computations with a good degree of accuracy.

    + Ability to work as a team member.

    + This is primarily a sedentary position which requires the ability to occasionally bend, stoop, reach, lift, move and carry office materials and supplies weighing 20 pounds or less.

    + Must have the finger dexterity and hand/eye coordination necessary to operate office business machines (calculator, phone, fax, copier, etc.) and a personal computer.

    + Hearing and speech sufficient to verbally communicate in person and on the telephone.

    + Mobility to frequently alternate between sitting, standing, and moving about the facilities.

    + Ability to interpret policies, procedures and regulations.

    + Ability to communicate both orally and in written format.

    + Must have the ability to effectively read, write, and speak the English language.

    Other Requirements:

    + Ability to pass criminal, drug, and driving screening.

    + Ability to work any time or day of the week, including weekends and holidays.

    + Possess valid driver’s license and maintain good driving record.

    + If required, ability to obtain and maintain security clearance and base access to assigned site(s).
