Responsibilities
+ Will be expected to design, create and implement the information technology and infrastructure architecture for a world-wide enterprise level information system.
+ Working with the F technical team to ensure that the system is scalable, responsive, available, secure, maintainable, and easy to administer.
+ Designing load tests and tuning the database and application components to meet performance goals.
+ Defining workable source control and software configuration management schemes, performing database administration tasks such as preparing backup plans and assigning database-level permissions, and investigating novel approaches to technical problems.
+ Manage inventory and assets, assisting with IT procurements and vendor contracts, project planning and implementation for major IT infrastructure improvements and refinements
+ Managing change requests, user incidents, performing security assessments and remediation, and documentation associated.
Qualifications
+ College bachelor’s degree or Technical Certificate(s) preferred but not required.
+ 5+ years’ experience in network operations and system administration.
+ Minimum of 3 years’ recent experience installing, configuring, maintaining, and upgrading network and systems infrastructure.
+ Minimum of 3 years’ recent experience installing, configuring, maintaining, and upgrading Windows server environments.
+ Establishing, implementing, and enforcing security standards and protocols across all systems; network, server, and desktop.
+ Monitoring network and system logs and ensuring prompt and effective incident response to unauthorized activity.
+ Ensuring regular backup of all critical systems, and validation and storage of backups.
+ Configuring and managing virtual server environments.
+ Configuring and maintaining desktop hardware.
+ Configuring and managing Windows Domain and Active Directory environments.
+ Ensuring compliance with Federal Government security and configuration standards.
+ Configuring and managing failover sites and operations and maintaining documentation and procedures for continuity-of- operations planning.
+ Automating network and system log monitoring and response.
+ Security Requirement: Must have a minimum of MRPT and must maintain this level of security required for the life of this role.
Preferred Skills:
+ CCNA (or comparable) level networking knowledge.
+ Security+ (or comparable) level security certification.
+ Security assessment, remediation, and documentation experience.
+ Hands-on datacenter and server experience.
