Tutor Doctor of North Jersey is seeking experienced and passionate Science Tutors to join our team. We’re a local, community-based tutoring company that has been helping students succeed for over 11 years. We match tutors with students for personalized, in-home instruction that fits their unique needs—and we’re currently looking for tutors with strong backgrounds in Sciences like Chemistry, Physics, Biology and other middle school, high school or college-level sciences. About the Role * One-on-One Tutoring: Provide personalized sessions tailored to each student’s learning style, academic goals, and course material. * In-Home Instruction: Work with students in their homes or at local libraries throughout Ridgewood and the surrounding areas. * Flexible Scheduling: Coordinate with families to set consistent session times that suit your availability. * Progress Reporting: Submit short session reports to help monitor student progress. What We’re Looking For * Subject Expertise: Strong knowledge of the Sciences like Chemistry, Physics, Biology or other science disciplines. * Experience: Minimum of 2 years of teaching or tutoring experience. * Education: Bachelor’s degree required (preferably in a science-related field). * Transportation: Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license. * Location: Willing and able to commute within a 10–15 mile radius of Ridgewood, NJ. * Commitment to Education: A passion for supporting student success and academic confidence.
