RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Interpret and explain human resources policies, procedures, laws, standards, or regulations.
+ Hire employees and process hiring-related paperwork.
+ Maintain current knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and affirmative action guidelines and laws, such as the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
+ Prepare or maintain employment records related to events, such as hiring, termination, leaves, transfers, or promotions, using human resources management system software.
+ Lead design, delivery, financial management, communication and/or administration of complex corporate wide HR products and programs including Compensation, LD, Learning, Payroll, Shared Services, or Staffing.
+ Work closely with external vendors and manage ongoing vendor performance.
+ Responsible for the finance control framework over all Global Human Resources events related to AMERICA’s Region (USA, Mexico, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Peru, Chile, Argentina, and Cayman Island).
+ Coordinate internal, external, and regulatory Financial and Tax Audits to ensure compliance with Internal Financial Control and processes across lead entities.
+ Lead Global GHR Finance strategy for US, Canada and LATAM.
+ Review US and Local GAAP accounting principles to reconcile ledgers and prepare and deliver financial statements under both accounting rules (Local and GAAP).
+ Audit financial statements for the Americas, including experience with financial statements in USA, Mexico, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Peru, Chile, Argentina, and Cayman Islands.
+ Coordinate requested deliveries, meet deadlines, provide additional explanations, and draft financial statements notes.
+ Work on human resources financial regulatory reports, monthly and annual Tax analysis, and Transfer pricing tracking in accordance with current regulations (Local and US GAAP).
+ Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite.
REQUIREMENTS:
+ Master's degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Management, Business Administration, or related: and
+ 3 years of experience in the job offered or a related human resources occupation.
+ Must include 3 years of experience in each of the following:
+ Reviewing US and Local GAAP accounting principles to reconcile ledgers and prepare and deliver financial statements under both accounting rules (Local and GAAP);
+ Auditing financial statements for the Americas, including experience with financial statements in USA, Mexico, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Peru, Chile, Argentina, and Cayman Islands;
+ Coordinating requested deliveries, meeting deadlines, providing additional explanations, and drafting financial statements notes; and,
+ Working on human resources financial regulatory reports, monthly and annual Tax analysis, and Transfer pricing tracking in accordance with current regulations (Local and US GAAP).
