THE POSITION
The Department of Human Services (DHS) is seeking a data expert for an executive-level position responsible for directing the department's PeopleStat Office providing agency-wide data analytics and performance management. DESCRIPTION OF WORK
Within this dynamic leadership role, you will be responsible for managing a team of staff who are focused on analyzing data relating to DHS programs and services, compiling annual DHS budget metrics, and retrieving data for legislative reports. You will provide expert advisory services to the Secretary regarding how to best utilize data in an effort to demonstrate the need for DHS programs as well as the effectiveness of those programs. This professional is also responsible for representing the Secretary at meetings related to data analytics, performance management, and data sharing, in addition to organizing and facilitating regular data driven meetings with executive staff.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
+ Full-time employment
+ Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
+ Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 2 days per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. f you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
+ Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
+ Seven years of professional experience in analyzing data, five of which involve facilitating data driven meetings to present findings/recommendations, and four years of leadership experience overseeing data analysis;or
+ An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Additional Requirements:
+ You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Preferred Qualifications (not required):
+ Led or been involved in data projects that were published.
