The J.R. Simplot Company is embarking on a greenfield SAP S/4 HANA ERP global transformation journey to support our current business and provide a unified platform for future growth. We are a diverse, privately held organization with roots in food, agriculture, and agriculture-related businesses. Our purpose is to contribute to feeding the world, and we continue to add members to our established SAP Practice to fulfill that strategy.

We are seeking an innovative and process-driven Senior Delivery Analyst to join the Source to Pay team. In this role, you will be directly responsible for the systems and modules within your area including but not limited to Materials & Inventory Management (MM/IM), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Vistex (Purchase Rebates & Chargebacks) and Ariba modules. You must have the ability to communicate technical solutions to non-technical audiences effectively. You will play a key role in contributing to all future business objectives and ensuring the success of our SAP S/4 HANA ERP transformation.

What you will do:

+ Be a functional configuration expert for your process area.

+ Ensure your consulting team members within your process area follow the program’s expectations and deliver to program timelines.

+ Partner with the application architects, functional leads, and the business to successfully perform process gap assessments and translate the business requirements into functional design specifications for SAP configuration & development work.

+ Participate in daily stand-up meetings with a small agile team.

+ Utilize agile methodologies for continuous delivery of solutions.

+ Execute Design workshops with key stakeholders, configuration requirements within SAP, and perform user acceptance testing.

+ Deliver and present SAP’s best practice process designs by highlighting key opportunities.

+ Document solutions and provide functional and technical presentations.

+ Participate in continuous discovery of new solutions utilizing the SAP Product Suite already procured by Simplot.

+ ​Collaborate with the key stakeholders, users, SMEs, cutover team, training team, and the OCM team to deploy product features into the business.

+ Develop and deliver training content & courses within your process area.

+ ​Support the team and business owners during the initial go-live events and provide technical expertise while focusing on deployment issues or defects.​

Typical Education

Bachelor's Degree (B.A. or B.S.) from 4 year college or university

Relevant Experience

+ Minimum 7+ years of practical experience as an SAP Senior Delivery Analyst, Source to Pay MM/IM/Ariba, or IT Business Analyst.

+ Strong understanding of SAP S/4 HANA modules of Direct (MM/IM & P2P) & Indirect (Ariba) processes.

+ Previous experience with Vistex a plus, not required. Vistex specific modules – Rebate Management _(Purchase, Volume & Growth)_ and Chargebacks.

+ Strong analytical skills to understand and analyze business processes for conversion to SAP and to optimize existing SAP processes for Direct & Indirect Procurement, Vistex & Ariba.

+ Ability to quickly identify and analyze technical risks & impact and define alternatives & prioritization to remove technical roadblocks.

+ Ability to manage multiple deliverables independently in a fast-paced environment.

+ Strong written and verbal communication.

+ Highly motivated self-starter.

+ Presentation and interpersonal skills to effectively exercise tact, discretion, judgment, and diplomacy when interacting with internal and external customers and senior management.

+ Ability to act as an advisor on professional and technical issues with a view towards reaching decisions.

+ Ability to perform effectively in a diverse organization and achieve results through global team efforts.

+ Team Lead experience is plus but not mandatory.
