As we drive to be the leading cloud platform in the world, Azure Core team is looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager to define the vision, strategy, and the roadmap for Azure Platform & Services to drive customers’ adoption of Microsoft Azure by connecting our technical experience, along with our customers’ vision and challenges directly to the engineering product teams, and as a result help to ensure Azure is the most compelling solution on the market.
To succeed in this role, you should have solid technical and analytical skills, excellent cross-group collaboration skills, and a passion for driving great technology designs in partnership with local and remote teams. You should also be able to make data driven decisions and be very effective in deriving insights based on data. You’ll be working with teams across multiple organizations in Azure to influence the design of our services, processes, and the tools that will continue to improve the platform. Finally, we’re looking for a team player with a can-do attitude, and a bias for action and results.

Responsibilities
+ You will drive programs focused on Azure Sovereign Cloud launches.
+ You will partner with Engineering Teams across Azure to deliver the services required by the customer & reduce the time to market.
+ Lead cross-team efforts to drive engineering solutions to technical challenges and deliver quality solutions to committed schedules and project plans.
+ You will work in a fast-paced technical environment with engineering leaders across Microsoft.
+ You will drive progress as part of agile development practices.
+ You will define and own key metrics and key quality and performance indicators.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
+ OR equivalent experience.
+ 2+ years experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
+ 2+ years of experience working on Cloud (Azure/AWS/GCP) and large distributed systems.
+ 2+ years of experience with analyzing complex systems and driving solutions in collaboration with engineering teams.
Other Requirements:
+ Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
+ Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
+ OR equivalent experience.
+ 6+ years experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
+ 1+ year(s) experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos).
+ 4+ years of experience working on Cloud (Azure/AWS/GCP) and large distributed systems.
Technical Program Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year.
