As a Vice President in our Investment Banking FP&A team, you will lead the charge in driving financial performance and strategic planning. Your role will be pivotal in executing financial budgeting, forecasting, and conducting strategic business reviews to align with market dynamics. You will leverage your expertise in competitive benchmarking and headcount management to shape strategic decisions. Additionally, you will serve as a key representative in high-stakes discussions, while mentoring a high-performing team to foster innovation and excellence.
Job Responsibilities:
+ Lead the development and execution of financial budgeting and forecasting processes. Ensure alignment with business objectives and market conditions.
+ Support business heads in conducting strategic business reviews, providing financial insights and recommendations.
+ Prepare earnings materials for the CFO, ensuring accuracy and clarity in financial reporting.
+ Conduct competitive benchmarking analysis against peers in the investment banking industry, providing insights to drive strategic decision-making.
+ Partner with the business management team to manage headcount and drive expense-saving initiatives.
+ Develop and deliver compelling PowerPoint presentations for senior management and external stakeholders. Exhibit strong public speaking qualities to effectively communicate financial insights and strategies.
+ Serve as a key representative for the Investment Banking in various calls with senior management, including the CFO, Business Heads, and FP&A leads, ensuring effective communication and alignment on financial strategies and objectives.
+ Mentor and develop a high-performing FP&A team. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Required qualifications, capabilities & skills
+ Experience in partnering with multiple senior stakeholders
+ Managing & mentoring a team
+ Experience in analytical reviews and presentation of business performance
+ Expertise in all Microsoft Office applications - Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint
Preferred qualifications, capabilities & skills
+ Degree qualification (preferred)
+ Previous experience in a finance / planning role in banking or financial services (preferred)
