Job Summary
Reports directly to the Wind Facility Manager and will work as part of a team to assure the facility operates with the highest Safety, Health and Environmental standards while achieving maximum performance and profitability. Duties may include working with the facility manager in preparing budgets and reports, working with turbine OEM and other contractors to track and ensure, all planned and corrective maintenance is properly performed, investigation of plant problems, perform routine preventative maintenance and predictive maintenance, inventory control and parts ordering, plant system and program ownership and creation and/or review of plant ownership.

What You''ll Do:
**Coordination Support:** Assist the facility manager in coordinating all activities related to the wind plant O&M agreements and equipment warranties.
**OEM and Contractor Management:** Oversee activities of OEMs and contractors, ensuring effective execution of manufacturer warranty work.
**Safety Training Oversight:** Ensure that safety training for contractors and vendors is current and compliant.
**Reporting Assistance:** Provide detailed information for monthly reporting and respond to equipment malfunctions, coordinating their resolution.
**Procedure and Policy Management:** Assist in implementing, managing, updating, and maintaining plant procedures, site policies, training programs, safety programs, and work practices.
**Regulatory Compliance:** Manage compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations and associated permits, including safety, health, and environmental regulations.
**Coordination with Stakeholders:** Coordinate activities and interactions with scheduling, marketing, and local utilities to achieve economic dispatch of the facility.
**Performance Monitoring:** Monitor plant performance, investigate, and correct abnormal conditions as they arise.
**Environmental and Safety Inspections:** Conduct periodic environmental and safety inspections, documenting and addressing any discrepancies.
**Equipment Inspections:** Perform documented periodic equipment inspections to assess needs for maintaining and improving plant reliability and availability.
**Work Orders and Requisitions:** Generate work orders and purchase requisitions as necessary.
**Security Management:** Conduct daily security checks and assist in controlling access and activities at the wind plant.
**Maintenance Activities:** Conduct planned and corrective maintenance on all Balance of Plant equipment.
**Warehouse and Parts Management:** Oversee the warehouse and parts program to ensure effective inventory management.
**Internal Controls:** Ensure adherence to relevant internal controls and develop new controls as needed.
**Budget Preparation Assistance:** Assist in preparing O&M and Capital Expenditure budgets.
What You'll Get:
Salary Range: $96,110.00 - $124,940.00
Minimum Requirements:
Education:
+ Technical or vocational formal training, or completion of an apprenticeship is highly desirable.
Experience:
+ A minimum of 4 years of experience is required. An equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable. Strong electrical experience working on or near various voltages ranging from 24V to 35.5kV, with a working knowledge of 115 kV systems.
Other Requirements:
+ **Protective Relay Systems:** Familiarity with protective relay systems is essential.
+ **Electrical Knowledge:** Knowledge of electrical equipment principles, maintenance practices, and appropriate electrical safety procedures is required.
+ **Measuring Tools:** Proficiency in using electrical measuring tools is necessary. Experience performing maintenance programs utilizing thermal imaging is a plus.
+ **Blueprint Interpretation:** Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics to assist in troubleshooting and maintenance.
+ **SCADA Systems:** Familiarity and operating experience with Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) and/or power plant control and monitoring systems are required.
+ **Computer Proficiency:** Must be proficient in MS Office applications, including Word and Excel, as well as email or similar software. Experience with DataStream for CMMS is preferred.
+ **Inventory Management:** Familiarity with managing warehouse and parts inventories is beneficial.
+ **Physical Abilities:**
+ Frequently required to perform tasks such as bending, squatting, kneeling, twisting/turning, climbing, stooping, overhead reaching, sitting, standing, lifting/carrying, and pushing/pulling.
+ Occasionally required to type/keyboards and drive (car/equipment).
+ Working conditions may include exposure to extreme cold, extreme heat, humidity, wet environments, noise, temperature changes, and varying atmospheric conditions.
+ **Climbing Requirements:**
+ Ability to climb 80-meter steel towers. The maximum weight limit for candidates is 265 lbs due to safety equipment constraints.
+ Frequently required to stand, walk, and use hands to manipulate objects, tools, or controls. Occasionally required to sit, climb, or balance, and may work at a computer monitor or sit for up to six hours per day.

The Physical Demand Level for this job is: M – Medium Work: Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work.
