    What** **you’ll** **be working on:

    At Savers, we are opening 25-30 new stores in 2025. In support of this growth, we seek a highly skilled and experienced Senior System Administrator to join our Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in D365 with expertise in Finance and Operations, and Commerce retail verticals. This role requires deep technical and functional knowledge, strong problem-solving abilities, and the capability to partner with Business stakeholders and IT to ensure our D365 solution continues to provide business value.

     

    The Senior System Administrator D365 is responsible for configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, future planning, and optimization of D365 Finance and Operations (F&O) and Commerce (retail Point of Sale) environments. Collaborate with IT, business stakeholders, and vendors to deliver stable, scalable solutions aligned with business goals. The role maintains a complete understanding of the organization's D365 solution and related services and serves as a key point of contact for all D365 issues, incidents, and enhancement requests. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to directly influence Saver’s success.

    What you have:

    1. D365 Technical Leadership & Administration

    + Play a key role as a D365 F&O and Commerce technical expert and system administrator.

    + Lead architecture discussions and strategy sessions to define Savers’ D365 roadmap and system enhancements.

    + Oversee the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of D365 environments using Lifecycle Services (LCS) and Azure DevOps.

    + Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot issues related to D365 infrastructure, system integrations, and related technology.

    + Define and support business continuity and disaster recovery planning for D365 solutions.

    2. Business Process Support & Consulting

    + Provide expertise, advice, and consultation for business processes supported by D365 F&O and Commerce.

    + Troubleshoot business process challenges, recommending solutions to improve efficiency and performance.

    3. Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

    + Work closely with Savers IT, business users, software vendors, and Microsoft support for incident management.

    + Collaborate with developers, integrators, and business partners for process improvement and system enhancements or upgrades.

    4. Security, Compliance & Governance

    + Manage D365 user and security roles, ensuring adherence to and compliance with the company’s segregation of duties rules, Sarbanes-Oxley policy, industry standards, security best practices, and Microsoft guidelines.

    + Ensure compliance with IT policies and procedures for the D365 platform.

    5. Monitoring, Maintenance & Support

    + Monitor and maintain batch jobs and other integrations, resolving issues as needed.

    + Perform data management monitoring and troubleshooting.

    + Support production environments, troubleshoot critical issues, and mitigate business impact.

    + Support production deployments and upgrades at a regular cadence.

    6. Training, Documentation & Adoption

    + Create and maintain documentation of new processes and system implementations.

    + Conduct user training, workshops, and user acceptance testing (UAT) sessions to ensure seamless system adoption.

    7. Continuous Improvement & Innovation

    + Stay updated with emerging Microsoft technologies, latest feature releases, industry trends, and retail best practices, recommending adoption where applicable.

    + Recommend business process improvements and efficiency gains as related to Savers’ D365 solution.

    8. Work Schedule & Flexibility

    + Maintain flexibility in work hours to accommodate various U.S. time zones as requested.

    + Occasionally work late or extended hours to support maintenance, upgrades, patch implementation, and similar activities.

    Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    + Knowledge of financial business processes as supported in D365 F&O

    + Strong understanding/experience of Cyber Security practices and procedures, with focus on D365, Azure and Microsoft technologies

    + Knowledge of D365 Third-Party provided “bolt on” software solutions and how to implement and manage same

    + Ability to manage multiple projects, workstreams, and stakeholders effectively

    + General knowledge of Networking concepts such as DNS, DHCP, SNMP, similar

    + Conceptual understanding of database structures, database queries via SQL, and SQL Server

    + Deep knowledge of various system integration architectures and their applicability within D365

    + Strong stakeholder management, problem-solving, and communication skills

    + Ability to interact with personnel at all levels of the organization

    + Ability to work independently or as a member of a team

    + Ability to communicate orally and in writing, including creation of end user documentation for training, communication, etc.

    + Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines and multi-task with minimal supervision

    Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    + Experience with D365 Commerce. General retail systems experience such as Point of Sale, etc. is also preferred

    + Experience with Retail Server, Commerce Scale Unit (CSU), and Retail SDK

    + D365 and Azure tenant billing and cost management experience.

    + Experience in developing and extending D365 using X++ and Power Platform solutions

    + Proficient at writing and understanding complex SQL queries used for extracting large datasets

    + Experience developing and maintaining automated data exchange via EDI, flat files, etc.

    + Experience with D365 BYOD (Bring Your Own Data) Reporting Database, including T-SQL queries, Database Views, etc.

    + Proficiency in report/dashboard creation in Power BI, SSRS or similar reporting toolsets

    Minimum Required Education, Training and Experience:

    + 5+ years of experience as a techno-functional expert with D365 F&O and Azure platforms

    + Preferred: Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent combination of experience and knowledge

    + Preferred: Microsoft certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert, D365 Finance and Operations Apps Developer Associate, and D365 Commerce Functional Consultant Associate or similar

    **FLSA:** Exempt

    **Travel:** 10% or less

    **Work Type/Location:** Hybrid – Boise, ID or Bellevue, WA (3-5 days in-office per week, at the discretion of management).
