Requirements:
2 years of PACU experience
MA RN License
Covid Vaccinated, Flu Vaccinated
Looking for two experienced PACU travel RNs. Must have PACU Phase 1 and Phase 2 experience, as well as Preop and Pediatric experience. Current ACLS and PALS certifications. Also must be available to work/take call over July 4th weekend - not all weekend necessarily but need some coverage July 3-6.
Preferred start date: June 9.
4 - 10 hour shifts, days with variable start times (6a-9am)
3-12 hour shifts, days/evenings with variable start times (8a--11a).
The post-anesthesia care Unit (PACU) nurse cares for patients who have under gone anesthesia. The post-anesthesia care Unit (PACU) nurse is responsible for observing and treating a patient postoperation and making sure that they safely awake from anesthesia. The PACU nurse must monitor vital signs and levels of consciousness to make sure that the sedation is wearing off properly, there are no adverse reactions occurring and patients are regaining consciousness.
Minimum Requirements:
+ Current RN licensure in the state in which RN is working.
+ ACLS and PALS certification per contract requirements.
+ Current CPR if applicable
+ TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
+ Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
+ Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
+ Must be at least 18 years of age
