Required Education/Experience
+ Bachelor's Degree and 2 Years Related work experience or
+ Associate's Degree and 4 Years Related work experience or
+ High School Diploma/GED and 5 Years Related work experience
Relevant Work Experience
+ Minimum two years of experience supervising staff responsible for fleet automotive and equipment repair, required.
+ Minimum of two years of experience with fleet vehicles and equipment, required.
+ Minimum of three to five years' experience as a professional mechanic, required.
+ Two years' experience working in the field of fleet vehicle and equipment maintenance and repairs, preferred.
+ Two years' experience using vehicle and auto parts management inventory software, preferred.
+ Two years' experience leading and building dynamic teams, preferred.
Skills and Abilities
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills
+ Demonstrated customer service skills
+ Ability to simultaneously handle multiple priorities
+ Effective interpersonal skills
+ Must be proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, etc.
Licenses and Certifications
+ Driver's License Required
Physical Demands
+ Work in, under, and on top of all types of company vehicles and/or equipment
+ Ability to travel to company locations to work on storm restoration and heat contingencies
+ Work with equipment with a manufacturer weight rating of 350lbs
Additional Physical Demands
+ The selected candidate will be assigned a System Emergency Assignment (i.e., an emergency response role) and will be expected to work non-business hours during emergencies, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
