• Package Specialist Enterprise Asset Management AMS

    CTG is seeking to fill a Package Specialist Enterprise Asset Management AMS opening for our client in Dallas, TX.

     

    **Location:** Dallas, TX

    **Duration:** 12 months

    Duties:

    + Provide application support and maintenance for the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) systems using Maximo Application Suite (MAS) 8/9 and Maximo 7.6.1.*

    + Participate in system upgrades, enhancements, and integration initiatives.

    + Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues within Maximo and integrated systems.

    + Collaborate with business users and technical teams to define and document requirements.

    + Design, develop, and implement solutions using Java, Python, JavaScript, and related technologies.

    + Develop reports using BIRT and manage application servers via Liberty.

    + Utilize Eclipse, Putty, and Shell scripting for development and server management tasks.

    + Interact with Oracle 19c or higher databases and use REST APIs and JSON for integration work.

    + Apply Agile/Scrum and Waterfall methodologies to manage development lifecycles.

    Skills:

    + Expertise with Maximo Application Suite (MAS) 8/9 and Maximo 7.6.1.*

    + Strong programming skills in Java, Python, and JavaScript

    + Proficiency in developing reports with BIRT

    + Experience with Liberty server, Eclipse IDE, and Putty

    + Familiarity with Oracle 19c+ and Shell scripting

    + Knowledge of REST APIs and JSON

    + Understanding of Agile/Scrum and Waterfall methodologies

    Experience:

    + Proven experience in supporting and upgrading Maximo EAM environments

    + Hands-on experience with MAS and Maximo customization and integration

    + Prior experience working in a support or AMS role with enterprise clients

    Education:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
