    Job Details:

    The Revenue Cycle System Training Representative is responsible for designing and developing training programs, under the guidance of the individual Revenue Cycle department leaders based on both the needs of the Revenue Cycle organization and the individual employee. The Revenue Cycle Training Representative will be expected to achieve an expert level understanding of all system and business operational policies, procedures, and effects on workflows, assisting team members with increasing their understanding and will participate in both group and one-on-one training for staff, managers and clinicians within all Revenue Cycle departments.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    + Develop training for Revenue Cycle system upgrades, annual updates, or process changes as needed.

    + Coordinate and provide application software training and education to Revenue Cycle personnel and/or internal customers as requested.

    + Must be an intermediate to extensive PC user, and be able to maintain (create, edit, professional output) Microsoft Office products efficiently (Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio).

    + Create and/or maintain a Revenue Cycle new hire orientation and continuing education program that includes trainer sessions for preceptors with Revenue Cycle leaders to validate training content.

    + Develop and deliver revenue cycle training materials and orientation with system proficiency and technology, ensure completion of annual competency assessments for all Revenue Cycle staff members by providing in-service, training and utilizing a variety of media as new policies arise; procedures change or as systems undergo upgrade or change.

    + Develop, maintain, and publish training schedule and communications such as bulletin boards and newsletters for new hire and on-going training activities.

    + Analyze current state workflows, design and develop workflows, and provides feedback for improving workflow, as needed.

    + Coordinate all scenario and role based training demonstrations and presentations.

    + Audit Revenue Cycle employee performance.

    + Ensure that statutory training requirements are met, amend and revise programming as necessary, in order to adapt to changes occurring in the work environment and/or industry.

    + Conduct follow-up studies of all completed training up to and including short questionnaire(s) to evaluate and measure results; modify programs as needed, performing retention and competency analysis to identify topics that show strengths and opportunities using Learning Management System.

    + Submit recommendations that aid in the development of the next learning objects which may include the next stage of learning strategy development.

    QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

    4 years of experience in systems support applications and/or training in a healthcare setting preferred. 5 years of experience working in multiple departments within the Revenue Cycle. 1 – 3 years of experience coordinating and training employees.

    EDUCATION:

    Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience. Master Degree preferred.

Individuals in this position are required to exercise universal precautions, use personal protective equipment and devices, and learn the policies concerning infection control.
