As a result of continued growth within our Risk Advisory’s Government & Public Sector (GPS) - State & Local (https://www.cbh.com/industries/state-and-local-government-consulting/) domain, an opportunity has been created for a **Senior Associate** to join our team, with a key focus on grants management. As a GPS Senior Associate, you will:
Support the performance of consulting engagements under the supervision of a project manager including participation in discussions with clients and assisting with drafting deliverables. Solutions delivered will meaningfully impact key areas of concern for our clients around grants management. Types of projects you can expect:
+ Pre award grant strategy and processes
+ Grant Lifecycle compliance including recipient and subrecipient reviews and workflow analysis
+ Cost Allocation Plans and Indirect Cost Rate Plans
+ Grants management advisory and support
What you bring to the role:
+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or other relevant business discipline
+ Minimum 4+ years of experience within a public accounting firm or public sector environment performing grants management services for state and local governments
+ Knowledge of Uniform Guidance, grant internal controls, grant professional standards and regulations and related systems
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel to include pivot tables, access database and related add-ins
+ Capable of working in a demanding, deadline driven environment with a focus on details and accuracy
+ Solid organizational skills especially ability to meet project deadlines with a focus on details
+ Ability to adapt to rapidly changing environments
+ Ability to travel 15% of the time
Additional desired qualifications:
+ Willingness to pursue relevant professional certifications such as CGMS, CPA, CIA, CFA, CCSA, CRMA and/or CGAP
+ Prior experience with audit, accounting, and/or consulting standards (IIA, AICPA, GAS including Yellow Book/Green Book)
+ Prior experience with internal controls including flowcharts, documentation and testing of controls
+ Ability to understand and apply compliance standards across a variety of engagements
+ Working knowledge of grants management and/or data analytics software such as eCivis, Amplifund, PowerBI, Alteryx, or similar technologies

Pay Range:
$77,710 to $149,200
