We are looking for an amazing Senior Manager, Trade Marketing to fill this role, which is based remotely. The incumbent leads the Trade Marketing team and serves a critical role in supporting internal and field sales teams, as well as NAM and Canadian travel advisor partners, through multiple channels: via brochures and sales tool support (printed and digital collateral, as well as video), integrated product program launches, email communications, trade advertising, marketing of sales promotions/limited-time offers and programs, content management of travel agent portals and growing travel advisor. Oversees and manages the content of the Princess Cruises Travel Advisor Academy. Incumbent also supports company initiatives as they relate to the sales team, from consumer promotions, product innovations, and ensures that all trade efforts align with established strategies.

Responsibilities
+ Directs continual stream of communications to travel agents to raise awareness of Princess promotions, new products, policies and sales tools and keep any additional relevant sales information top of mind. Primary vehicles are the weekly travel advisor newsletter, bi-monthly Princess Webinars, ad hoc email, sales collateral, as well as OneSource. These efforts require curating information from multiple sources, writing, designing and, securing assets and composing comprehensive communications that meet established objectives.
+ Responsible for directing trade marketing team to support and assist in strategizing our sales team’s marketing efforts (from VP to directors to business development managers), from coop and partnership advertising initiatives, to travel advisor and consumer events, conferences, presentations, videos and sales collateral support. Also manages trade support for in-person trade events including Ship Inspections/road shows/onboard seminar cruises, with needed collateral and digital support to ensure successful and relevant experiences for our travel advisor partners that are aligned with business needs. Trade marketing is responsible for submitting creative briefs through our creative services team and reviewing all marketing efforts to ensure they comply with project objectives, as well as brand standards and positioning.
+ Directs creation of sales materials and trade communications to support the regular cadence of destination product releases each year, from Brochures and collateral flyers to maps, emails, OneSource. Ensures efforts are aligned with corporate business focus and strategies.
+ Directs and executes strategy to reflect current promotions, business needs and booking cycles, from email, to print, digital, webinars, video and other mediums. Works with media agency and trade media organizations directly to ensure media plan is efficient and effective and meets business goals and priorities further review:
+ manages the printed inventory for all printed brochures and collateral with our fulfilment house and is responsible for initiating production of said marketing pieces with our production team to determine scope of projects, print specs, quantity and press dates.
+ Budget responsibilities for physical brochure/collateral, trade/event show marketing support, and trade advertising.
+ Manages all assets for all the presentations and curate’s videos/b-roll, and other assets, ppt content, to ensure brand consistency and alignment at all trade events.
+ Senior Manager represents sales on a variety of marketing initiatives by participating in strategy meetings, offering input and actioning directives to align with the overall Marketing priorities and positioning that will generate revenue and support brand growth. Such initiatives, include promotion of cruise bundles, ship New Builds, MedallionClass innovations, new programs, consumer and trade promotions and tactical efforts to address urgent business needs. Senior Manager, Trade Marketing, and team are expected and required to review larger project initiatives and provide input, document tactics planned, and post-initiative examples of tactics executed. As needed, direct, create and compose quick-turn marketing pieces, from flyers to videos, PowerPoints social banners, photo editing and more. In some cases, we revise and adapt existing pieces for efficiency and expediency. This requires proficiency in software outside of Microsoft, including Adobe Acrobat Pro, InDesign, Photoshop, Premier and Illustrator.
+ Directs strategy, content development, site structure, audits and maintenance of trade-related pages on our travel advisor portal to ensure site is current, relevant and user friendly to the trade. Also responsible for PrincessPartners.com, a trade initiative (and separate website), designed to show travel advisors how we are a pleasure to do business with, to grow our travel advisor/agency base. This includes a website and many of the initiatives, noted above, under the Princess Partners umbrella.
Requirements
+ Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or related field
+ 7+ years of experience in marketing on client or agency side; or internal/external communications in either a corporate setting or agency environment.
+ 5+ years of project management experience. Successful track record of independently handling multiple and complex events and initiatives.
+ 3+ years of managerial experience in a leadership role with 2 or more reports.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams & Outlook, minimum)
+ Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud: (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premier, Acrobat Pro)
+ Experience with Project Management software, such as Workfront or Asana
+ Experience with web content management
+ Experience with American Disability Act compliance requirements regarding consumer-facing marketing projects
+ Highly motivated, independent thinker and generator of on-brand, strategic marketing opportunities; strong ability to vet complex details.
+ Demonstrated ability to project-manage multiple stakeholders to deliver common objectives
+ Outstanding time management skills – track record of managing daily multiple project’s ability to prioritize changing action items in a fast-paced environment, under tight deadlines.
+ Very strong analytical skills with ability to pro-actively present and resolve complex issues and results, with minimal supervision from manager
+ Strong experience with managing marketing content, from brochures and sales collateral to advertising, email and video.
+ Experience and ease with writing and editing marketing copy
+ Experience with email marketing, best practices and other facets of digital marketing and advertising
+ Experience with print and video production processes
+ Strong grasp of modern graphic design and best practices
