    Waste Connections has an immediate opening for a **Heavy Equipment Operator** to join our team in **White Plains, KY**

     

    Our Equipment Operators operate equipment such as bulldozers, wheel loaders, excavators, and off-road dump trucks. You will be responsible for routine inspection and maintenance on the equipment such as checking oil, water, and tires.

    **Pay Rate:** $22.50/hr plus approximately 10 or so hours of overtime weekly.

    (Overtime is time and a half after 40 hrs)

    **Schedule:** 6:30am start time averaging approximately 10 hours per day.

     

    Monday-Friday with occasional Saturdays.

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    + Operating heavy equipment such as: bulldozers, wheel loaders, motor grader, scraper, and compactors.

    + Performing routine inspection and maintenance on equipment.

    + Promoting continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.

    + Interacting with customers and Waste Connections employees to determine safe and environmentally sound solutions to service issues.

    Job Requirements –

    + Ability to lift 50lbs repeatedly throughout the day.

    + Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
