We are seeking a Data Governance – Technology Manager to join Zions Bancorporation. The Data Governance – Technology Managerplays a key role in ensuring that our technology practices align with regulatory requirements and industry standards, driving the strategic direction of technology governance, and fostering a culture of compliance and risk management across the organization. This role will have a significant impact on maintaining the integrity and security of our technology operations, ensuring that we continue to deliver exceptional service to our clients and community.

The Data Governance – Technology Manager will:

+ Develop and implement technology governance frameworks and policies.

+ Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

+ Build and establish and robust technology governance function across all technology domains.

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate governance practices into technology projects.

+ Monitor and report on technology governance metrics and KPIs.

+ Provide guidance and training to staff on governance policies and procedures.

+ Manage relationships with external auditors and regulatory bodies.

+ Drive continuous improvement in technology governance practices.

+ Oversee the development and maintenance of documentation related to technology governance.

+ Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

+ Minimum of 8 years of experience in technology governance, risk management, or compliance.

+ In depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards (e.g., ISO, NIST, GDPR).

+ Proven experience in leading risk assessments and audits.

+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

+ Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

+ Analytical and problem-solving skills.

+ Relevant certifications (e.g., CISA, CRISC, CGEIT) are a plus.

+ Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field; master's degree preferred.

+ A combination of education and experience may meet requirements.
