The Director, Strategy & Commercial Innovation will lead the strategic planning process, Myopia marketing & sales, and the commercial innovation pipeline for the Americas Vision Care Franchise.
This role will be responsible for shaping the short-, mid- and long-term business strategy for the Americas Region. This individual will be responsible for oversight of Business Plan and Strategic roadmap in partnership with Global and regional teams. The individual will lead the Myopia marketing and sales team across the Americas. Lastly, this individual will be responsible for the commercial assessment of new business opportunities and leadership critical projects that will drive incremental growth for the Americas.
This role reports directly into the President of Vision Care Americas and has direct line management for the Strategy, Myopia and Commercial Innovation teams.
Responsibilities:
+ Lead the Vision Care Americas business plan process and shape the long-term strategic plan, operationalize through change management principles and drive impact through execution
+ Core member of Vision Care Leadership Team to lead the monthly business review process and scorecard to ensure strategy alignment and financial investment.
+ Partner with Finance during critical business cycles to allocate investments aligned to strategy, drive commercial efficiencies & effectiveness, and support go-to-market plans that will drive incremental value and share growth
+ Lead the Myopia marketing and sales teams to include base business execution, resource allocation and launch excellence across the Americas.
+ Lead internal and external events to enhance connectivity, strengthen brand equity, and drive customer engagement in line with business priorities. Manage core vendor relationships and optimize cost efficiencies across all events.
+ Collaborate closely with Enterprise Solutions and Business Development teams on commercial innovation projects that will drive incremental growth
+ Lead a team of marketing and sales professionals, providing guidance, support, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
+ Manage marketing budgets and allocate resources efficiently to achieve desired results.
+ Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and ethical standards in all marketing activities.

Qualifications
+ Minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required. MBA is preferred.
+ Minimum of 8 years of progressive sales & marketing experience is required.
+ Experience in Brand Marketing is preferred.
+ Achieving results in Sales and Marketing through leadership experience is required.
+ Experience in MedTech industry is preferred.
+ Ability to challenge the status quo and lead change is required.
+ Ability to forge internal collaboration across all levels of the enterprise is required.
+ Strong influencing skills with internal and external partners is required.
+ Proven leadership ability to motivate and lead cross-functional teams across a matrix organization is required
+ This position is located in Jacksonville, Florida and requires up to 30% domestic travel.
