The Logistics/Operations Specialist is responsible for coordinating the safety, service, and other miscellaneous activities to ensure the Organization's facility operates at an optimal level.

Responsibilities of Logistics/Operations Specialist:

+ Warehouse experience is a must

+ Ensure that facilities problems are identified and repaired quickly

+ Establish, implement, maintain, and audit safety protocols for Emergency Action Plan, LOTO, IIPP, Annual Fire Safety, First Aid Training, and Bi-Annual Forklift Training

+ Acquire quotes for new or replacement tools, maintenance programs, infrastructure needs such as for security systems, alarms, HVAC, etc.

+ Assist Quality with the administration of calibration and preventative maintenance program as needed.

+ Acquire quotes for new or replacement tools, maintenance programs, infrastructure needs including but not limited to security systems, alarms, HVAC

+ Support the IT team with technology needs such as, but not limited to, troubleshooting and repair; spec and acquire computers, printers, and replacement hardware; auditing and maintaining server/APC, networking hardware, and more

+ Perform Shipping, receiving and Warehouse transactions in support of the business, including inventory control.

+ Assist in the coordination of special events such as holiday luncheons

+ Work together with other professionals to maintain standards and functionality

+ Other duties as assigned

Requirements of Logistics/ Operations Specialist :

+ High School diploma or GED

+ 3+ years' experience working with vendors and building management

+ Experience with ERP, MRP or logistics software

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Suite

+ Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships

+ Excellent interpersonal skills

+ High attention to detail with the ability to multitask

+ Ability to lift/move up to 25lbs regularly
