As a Digital Content Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency (NGA) by modernizing how the intelligence community shares, interprets, and applies essential geospatial data.

This critical role involves shaping and delivering mission-critical geospatial standards for real-world operations. Your work will help advance efforts to create a more data-centric, operationally effective GEOINT environment, directly contributing to national security and mission-critical operations. You will oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of technical content, from Data Product Specifications to visual documentation, ensuring it’s accurate, accessible, and optimized for web publication. With your expertise in HTML and digital formatting, you’ll ensure clarity and usability across all materials. Collaboration with analysts and subject matter experts will help translate complex data into actionable, user-friendly resources, enabling the intelligence community to make informed, real-time decisions.

Requirements:

+ Active TS/SCI security clearance

+ Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience

+ Or an Associate’s degree with at least 3 years of relevant experience

+ Web content expertise: Proficient in using HTML and web formatting tools to deliver clear, effective digital content on live platforms.

+ Document conversion and optimization: Skilled in transforming technical documents and graphics into user-friendly online materials, ensuring readability and visual clarity.

+ User-focused content structuring: Ability to organize and format content in a way that enhances navigation, clarity, and ease of use for web audiences.

Desired Qualifications

+ Proficiency with content creation tools: Comfortable working with design software like Adobe Suite and Microsoft Office to edit and prepare source content for digital platforms.

+ Writing and editing proficiency: Strong command of grammar and technical writing principles to ensure content is both precise and clearly communicated

+ Experience with content management systems (CMS): Familiarity with open-source tools or CMS to streamline content management and find innovative ways to enhance digital content delivery.
