    The Marketing & Events Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the PHLY Marketing and Events team. This position involves assisting in the development, coordination, and execution of marketing campaigns and events, ensuring smooth operations and timely delivery of initiatives.

     

    + The Assistant will work closely with the Marketing & Events Manager to manage logistics, communicate with vendors, handle administrative tasks, and contribute to creative processes.

    + Additionally, this role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

    + The ideal candidate will be proactive, resourceful, and eager to contribute to the growth and success of marketing strategies and events.

    + The Marketing & Events Assistant will provide general administrative support to the Marketing & Events Team and Manager as needed for the coordination and execution of all corporate events, such as managing event registrations, guest lists, and attendee communications.

    + This role will also support all Marketing efforts in regard to hosting internal/external webinars and facilitating podcast recordings.

    + Additionally, this role will assist the Marketing & Events Manager with scheduling meetings, managing tasks and addressing high priority projects assigned by Executive leadership. Assist monthly with monitoring expenses and submitting monthly reports and invoices and will perform other related duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s degree required in Marketing, Business, Hospitality, Communications or related field.

    + 1-year experience as a Marketing/Events Assistant or similar role in the Marketing and/or Event Planning industry.

    + Knowledge and experience with online meeting and event platforms required (Zoom, Teams, Webex)

    + Knowledge of Contact Management systems and database software preferred (SharePoint, Salesforce, Cvent)

    + Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    + Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

    + Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively.

    + Creative problem-solving and a positive, can-do attitude.

    + Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
