    The Surety Claims team is growing and looking for a Surety Claims Specialist to join our team!

     

    This person will have the opportunity to handle a wide array of claims from performance bond claims, litigation management, payment bond & commercial surety claims.

     

    A typical day will include the following:

     

    Evaluates each claim in light of facts, policy considerations and corporate direction.

     

    Pays and/or reserves and/or denies coverage as appropriate.

     

    Investigates circumstances of complex and possibly routine claims to determine if and to what extent coverage applies.

     

    Communicates with all relevant parties and documents communication as well as results of investigation.

     

    Thoroughly understands coverages, policy terms and conditions for surety, products or special contracts.

     

    May assist with changing bond forms, drafting indemnity agreements, promissory notes and trust agreements.

    Qualifications:

    Successful candidates will have the following:

    BA required w/ min (8) yrs exp in Surety Claims or JD preferred with min (5) yrs exp Surety Claims.

     

    Strong attention to detail

     

    Strong communication skills

     

    Ability to work in a fast paced, growing environment.
