    We are currently seeking a passionate individual for the position of Part Time Adult Home Care Aide. In this crucial role, you will be based at the Pleasant Gardens Adult Home, a 26-bed facility which provides 24-hour supervision, personal care, meals, housekeeping, laundry service, transportation, daily recreational activities, and medication management.

    POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

    + Make residents' beds and ensure linens are changed weekly or as needed.

    + Prepare, cook, and serve meals and snacks according to dietary needs.

    + Perform laundry tasks for residents' linens and personal clothing.

    + Maintain cleanliness and organization through regular housekeeping and adhering to the cleaning schedule.

    + Monitor and restock personal hygiene supplies for residents.

    + Administer/supervise medication administration and assist residents with daily routines.

    + Document incidents and complete the daily census accurately.

    + Ensure the safety of resident rooms and common areas, assisting with additional tasks as needed.

    POSITION RELATIONSHIPS

    Reports to: Adult Home Administrator

     

    Supervises: None

    POSITION REQUIREMENTS

    + High School Diploma or Equivalency

    + Experience working with elderly preferred

    + Valid NYS Driver's License in good standing

    + Physical Requirements: Sits, stands, stoops, squats, walks, and moves intermittently during work hours, may push or pull 10-15 pounds daily, may push or pull up to 50 pounds occasionally, drive agency vehicle

    + Training in First Aid and CPR required

    + Successful completion of annual Physical and PPD

     

    SHIFT: Thursday 3pm-11pm & Saturday 3pm-11pm

     

    PAY RATE: $18.50 hourly
