    Cherokee Town & Country Club in Sandy Springs, GA is seeking to hire a full-time Greenskeeper / Landscaper / Laborer to maintain the golf courses and help ensure an excellent golfing experience for our members.     A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A GREENSKEEPER / LANDSCAPER / LABORER

     

    As a Greenskeeper / Landscaper / Laborer, you enjoy being outside and on the golf course. We have 2 golf courses that need to be maintained, and we depend on you to help keep them functional and beautiful. By mowing greens and tees daily, you have come to know the layout of our courses. To maintain our courses, you use small power tools including push blowers, backpack blowers, weed eaters, edgers, and flymowers as well as hand tools including shovels, scoops, rakes, and pitchforks. While you complete your work, you safely drive utility vehicles and golf carts. You love being part of a dedicated, hardworking maintenance/landscaping team. The pride that you take in your work ensures that our golf courses live up to our good reputation.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    + Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand/walk for long periods of time

    + Hard worker with a positive attitude

     

    Experience with power equipment (tractors, mowing equipment, small tools, etc) as it relates to golf course maintenance is a plus! Are you reliable and self-motivated?     WORK SCHEDULE

    Shifts for this full-time maintenance position typically start at 6:30am.
