Description
+ Design, Develop, Deploy, and Monitor complex ETL/ELT data pipelines which may contain various required transformations of data using various languages and techniques.
+ Optimize and tune data processing and storage systems for performance, scalability, and reliability.
+ Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing data validation, cleansing, and transformation processes.
+ Write SQL scripts and objects such as stored procedures, user-defined functions, views, indexes per business requirements.
+ Work with stakeholders on data-related technical issues.
+ Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements.
+ Clearly articulate pros and cons of proposed technologies/solutions.
+ Certifications are beneficial.
+ Preferred Locations: Indianapolis, IN
Requirements
+ Minimum 3 – 5 years of designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines using AWS cloud services, with a strong focus on S3 for data storage and integration.
+ Ingest and process data from external APIs, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and reliability.
+ Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues, ensuring system reliability and performance.
+ Ability to write robust code in Python and SQL programming languages.
+ Proficient in writing advanced / complex SQL statements; expertise in performance tuning and optimization of SQL queries required.
+ Ability to create functioning ETL prototypes to address quickly changing business needs.
+ Experience with version control system such as Git.
+ Familiarity with Java and/or Perf, is a plus, but not required.
+ Clearly articulate pros and cons of proposed technologies/solutions.
Where You'll Work
Moser has two offices in Indianapolis, IN, and one in Baltimore, MD. This position will require a hybrid/onsite work schedule out of our downtown or Castleton office.
Salary
At Moser Consulting, we believe in pay transparency and fairness.
